Track 1 - Pushcar - Defiant Song
Kicking off our debut show is 'Defiant Song' by studio 2-piece Pushcar. Great guitar work and interesting lyrics.

Track 2 - Shaking Tree - Sound of Rain
'World Music' the way it should be. Celtic, Latin and even some African influences dance around each other. Who said the Violin had no place in pop?
Track 3 - The Sheila Divine - Like a Criminal
80's indie guitar rock influenced slice of pop. Way better than it has any right to be.
Track 4 - Prozak for Lovers - I wanna be Sedated
What better way for us to pay tribute to the late, great Joey Ramone than with a Lounge version of 'I wanna be Sedated'? Well OK there are loads of ways, but still this is one of the more unusual covers you will ever hear.

Track 5 - Dragsterbarbie - He's a Vegetarian
California's best little chick-garage band bring us the world's greatest ever rhyme of Dali Lama and Mamma. Great band, great song.
Track 6 - Tim David Kelly - She Breaks Down
Fomer 'Kicking Harold' front man Tim David Kelly produced one of the best independent albums of 2000. We could have chosen any of the tracks but we went for the softer side of Mr. Kelly with a pretty little tune.

Track 7 - Big Sir - Nonstop Drummer
Trippy dance pop hybrid that is pure 'mellow out music' at its very, very best. First rate song from a top notch CD.
Track 8 - Mark Berube - I wish I was gay
Comedic folk singer gives us his perfect way to get out of a dying relationship.
Track 9 - Paxton - What's it like to be you
Man I love this song. Great bitter little indiepop classic that takes a well aimed swipe at all the beautiful people out there.
Track 10 - Chamberlain - Try for Thunder
Epic pop tune from an all-star CD.
Track 11 - Hide Park Rangers - All Cars Look the Same
Band so obscure the only mentions I can find on the Internet are this website and their own official page. I can't even find a place you can buy the CD. Anyway you can, courtesy of Indie Monkey, listen to a strange Swedish song.
Track 12 - Tommy Flake - This Today
Another criminally ignored songer-songwriter. Indie Pop is still the future my friends, at least it is when it is done right.
Track 13 - Furious IV - Princess gets...
Punk band from California who spent a massive $595 on their debut album. They got value for money, as will you with this piece of pure punk heaven.
Track 14 - Steve Tannen - Shelter Hotel
Another top rate singer-songwriter. We love 'em at Indie Monkey. The opening track of his debut CD is a tale of relationships, woe and rhyming 'Paris' and 'Millionairess'.
Track 15 - The Loose Nuts - Tomorrow
If there is a better cover of a Broadway tune by a bunch of New York teenage punks, then I don't know of it.
